1d. Paleomagnetism of Keweenawan Baraga-Marguette dykes

Project goals

The goal is to get further light on the mysterious Keweenawan reversal asymmetry. Focus is on fresh dykes of the Little Mountain (Baraga) and Sugar Loaf (Marquette) areas.

Highlights

New N polarity dykes discovered in Baraga area which reveal the same reversal asymmetry as previously documented around Lake Superior Keweenawan units.
